January 2nd, 2021

The drive down to California took 14.5 hours when it should have only been 9. A lot of people were going back home from the holidays. I got car sick and anxiety took over. Eddies World will never be the same ;) just kidding. I'm very happy the drive back was MUCH smoother, faster and nicer.

Driving into Vegas there is a rainbow on that cloud!

How great our road trip was before traffic hit.

January 3rd, 2021 The house and Beacon Bay

Grandma Judy gave Jay legos for Christmas, he had them put together wicked fast.

Beacon Bay, docks at the harbor where Grandma Judy lives:

This hat is the Christmas gift from Judy. A friend of hers knitted it!

Chloe saying hi from Judy's porch!

New place left the kids a bit uneasy so they piled all in the same bed for the first night. After that they fought over who got to sleep alone in the smaller bed down the hall.

Kids bathroom:

Small bed where one child would sleep. They loved how alone, quiet and peaceful it was.

January 4th, 2021, Hollywood & the Wedge

We drove up to the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
Traffic was a breeze, took us about 55 minutes to get there and that was with a few missed turns. What can I say, my beautiful looks and brain distract my husband! We were nearly the only tourists and the walk was empty. The kids weren't that into it so we only walked a few blocks before heading to the car for a picnic.

In See's candy shop parking lot in Irvine. Who doesn't love them some chocolate?

Chloe earned gummy bears, she chose to eat them in peace on the porch without her brothers knowing.

Then we went on a bike ride down to the beach and along the board walk down to the wedge.

Helmets worn by kids is the law down here. There were only kid helmets so Eric and I went without. Chloe rode in the basket on a big luscious beach towel because there were only 4 bikes and the wedge would be quite the ride for her.

Nice grassy area with plenty of sport courts and play equipment around it.

They were SO excited to be here!

He couldn't help himself but get wet after being told not to get soaked, so he sat in the sand for little bit, obviously enjoying himself.

Hearts in the sand!

Eric offering to help me up the rocks, not a planned picture!

Cutest Airbnb ever!
