Kelson Joseph Autrey
August 26, 2010
The day of Kelson's birthday landed on a Wednesday, the day right before school started for him. We had our very own little birthday party for him that evening. He opened his gifts and loved each and every one of them! I wrapped them all and stuffed them in his new back pack, then wrapped the back pack! At first he only thought there was only one present for him. He was completely okay with just receiving his back pack, but I could tell he wished there were more. Such a cute kid! After presents his Gma/Gpa showed up to give him presents from them! Afterwards we celebrated with chocolate peanut butter cake! He blew the candle out before we could even sing to him!
Uncle Levi made it, Aunt Lacee was there, The Mohler's showed up as well as the Poulson's! I'd have to say it as a pretty good turn out! The party lasted two full hours! At the end Kels was begging to go home. He loved everything he received and was even nice enough to allow Jay to play with the new toys. SHOCKING, I KNOW! No, they really do love each other, they just don't show it often.
I honestly can't believe that it's been 5 years since I became a mom. 5 years since our family started to grow. 5 years since our lives
really changed and for the better. 5 years. 5 whole years. I feel like I should be older and more mature to have a 5 year old that goes to kindergarten. These last five years have been so great! He is such a loving, kind spirited, brilliant boy! We just love him to pieces!
