We went to SLC Friday night to buy a bike for Eric. While we were there I surprised him and the kids with a stay at Lori's house. A getaway just as the doctor ordered, literally. The next morning we grabbed breakfast at City Creek, my favorite cafe was running significantly behind schedule due to a power outage that morning. (That is what woke Eric and me up at 6:30 in the morning! No fan, no cool air!)
We ran down to my brothers-in-law in South Jordan to see him, our niece who was visiting for the day from Kansas, and a cousin. After that, we stopped in at REI to grab some peddles for a said bike that was bought the night before.
We went home to relax, Eric went to donate plasma then we went to Sandy to spend the evening with the Baileys.

Sunday Eric had to work and I did some projects around the house. He was able to make double that day AND get off early. We met Levi and Sharron Howser at Salem Pond for some sandwiches, paddle boarding, and an inflatable little boat thing. Oh, and some mild fishing.
Monday we woke up early to see the balloon festival with the Howsers, then went to the parade. After lunch and once Eric got home from work we went to Spanish Fork to play on a waterslide bounce toy and BBQ with the Mohler's. What a great, fun, love fulfilling weekend!
