BYU Basketball Night

Cougars--Raaaawwwwwr!

We watched the game live Saturday! BYU 102 San Francisco 92! We hadn't been to the Marriott center for a basketball game since before Jay was born. All 5 of us (still getting used to saying that) loved showing our team spirit and making noise! Kelson was ready to go home once half time started, until he was given some nachos, then he was ready to stay for the second half. Their half time show was awesome! They had an acapella group sing/make noises for the Star Wars theme. Jay turns to me and excitedly tells me, "Mom! It's STAR WARS!" He was so stoked they were playing Star Wars. Chloe slept through a small portion of it. All in all we were spoiled and so grateful to make these memories with our kids.

BoomShakalaka

Boomshakalaka is the BYU Basketball intro to the season! They introduce each player on the men and women's team and have a couple competitions with lots of lights and music! We thought the boys' would really enjoy it! We really did have a lot of fun watching the slam dunk competition and the different relay races. Eric spoiled us with snacks from the concession stands. Cheering was difficult with no voice, but Eric and the boys' most definitely made up the difference! All in all it was a very successful night full of laughter, excitement and fun!
