Jaker's Pumpkin Patch October 2015

 Family time at Jaker's

Halloween

Jaker's Pumpkin Patch is great family fun! We have gone every year since they opened! A lot has changed in those three years. This year was the first time they started charging, although it is only a dollar a person over the age of two. Best four dollars we ever spent!

A few of the activities include: A hay ride through the pumpkin patch and corn stalks, a pyramid of hay bells, the pumpkin drop, the haunted trailer maze, hay bell maze (kids and adults), slides, the corn pit, petting zoo and horse rides!

Chloe and I love the corn pit! We all took turns being buried in it. Afterwards we had corn coming out our ears and clothes the rest of the night!

The boys' favorite part was the slides! They have hay bells ya climb to the top and slide down two big ol' pipes and land in a small corn pit

The horse rides are only $4! The sign said they were closed the day we went... As we were leaving it was open again... I think we might have to go back just for the horse ride!

Jay wanted chipmunk faces... That guy in the back kept photo-bombing us! At least he's pleasant in this one lol

Awesome photo-bomb! Hhahaha

Petting piggies!

Trying to sneak corn down each other's shirts!

He is SO happy!

Enjoying yummy donuts!!!

Family Home Evening! Firefighter Style!

Fire, Fire, Fire!!!

October 5, 2015

The Provo Fire Department came to the Rec. Center parking lot and taught us about fire safety! It was full of fun filled activities for the kidlets!

1. They got to shoot the fire hose! Orange cones were the targets!

2. They got their picture taken in a firefighter cardboard cut out!

3. They got to watch a man rappel (he was from search and rescue) from the top of the fire ladder all the way to the ground!

4. They got to go into the Fire Safety Trailer.  Its a camp trailer they have converted into a little house. There is a front room, a kitchen and a bedroom. They talked about fire safety in all three rooms. The bedroom is upstairs where they turn on the fog machine. The smoke alarm goes off and all the kids have to evacuate through the sliding door, onto the porch and down the ladder! I did it, too! Eric smiled and shook his head at me.

5. They got a goodie bag! It came with a plastic fire-man's hat, a toy fire extinguisher and of course, a sticker!!!

The boys had so much fun! Kelson was really nervous about firing the water hose, so Jay did it first. We went and did all the other activities before Kelson got brave enough to get back in line!

Today was pajama day for Kelson... We all wore our pajama's to match him! Everyone but me remembered to change before coming here!

Kelson spraying the hose! Unfortunately, we didn't get one of Jay doing it :(

The Chief and... another big shot (I can't remember his position)

Just pretend this one is rotated the correct way...

Grandparents Galore

Grandparents:

The boys have a lot of grandparents between Eric's family, biological family, "foster" family, my split family and close friends' family! We make sure to set time aside (somehow) to see everyone!

A few weeks ago we met at my sister's house for my bother's birthday. We also had a family pictures, but I don't have it yet. Don't mind Ryken laying on the ground... Lacee & Nana cooing over Chloe!

The next several pictures are when Gpa John & Gma Louly came with puppies to visit!
Some pictures are taken by Kelson, bet you can guess which ones!

Gma Louly being silly...

When Gma Judy came to visit from Southern California! We sure love and miss her dearly!

Went to visit Gma Lori in SLC (while her mother, Judy, was in town)

Gma Judy admiring Baby Chloe! The first time they met!

Gpa John and Jay meeting the rodeo clown!

Gpa Autrey meeting Chloe for the first time!

Gpa Simpson had a birthday party at Chuck-A-Rama for his 83rd birthday! Lots of family made it, it was great to see aunts and cousins we haven't seen in a very long time! These two aren't doing very well health wise, but in these pictures Eric was able to capture a little bit of their sense of humor!

We sure love Gpa and Gma Autrey, Nana, Gma Louly and Gpa John, Gma Lori, Gma Judy, Nana Verlie, Gpa and Gma Bailey, Gpa Scott, Gma and Gpa Simpson, Great Gpa and Gma Autrey, Great Gma and Gpa Schmaltz, annnnd I hope that all the 'grandparents'.... Even color coordinated!

4 Months

Chloe's 4th Month Update

On September 22nd, Chloe made the fourth month mark. Funny enough, it was also the one year mark of Eric and I finding out we would be parents to another little one! Can I just say, this year 2015, has gone by so fast! It feels like I should be having Chloe about now, and yet she's four months old! It didn't even seem like September showed up this year!

Just 3 days ago, September 28, she started OFFICIALLY rolling. She rolls on her tummy and forgets she can roll on to her back. She usually starts to cry until she realizes she can roll back!

The drool has NOT stopped or even lightened!

She has started eating WAY more... She used to just eat once a night... Now she eats near 4 times a night!

I give her watered down apple juice to try and keep her regulated. So far so good! She absolutely LOVES it! She would drink a whole bottle if I let her.

She talks constantly and it doesn't matter if anyone is around! Her talk usually has a lot of grunting and growling, probably picked that up from the boys ;) It's the sweetest thing. Sometimes, while holding her, she just goes to town with the jibber jabber and I can't tell if she is upset or if she's completely content and just voicing her opinion. *The other day, Jayson got right in her face and was annoying her. She grunted and growled at him! Go Chloe!!! Jay was shocked and didn't quite know how to react to that... He will learn soon enough, soon enough.

She is just so happy and always smiling! We are so qlucky to have her in our family! She literally is sunshine. Eric will tickle her with his beard and we think it's her favorite thing ever, besides eating of course. Check out an older post for those videos!

UVU spirit! Nightgown!

Looks like shes eating her big toe!

Why are you making that face, Mom?

Hehehe DROOL!!!

Gotta eat my dress :)

See? It feels and tastes so good!
