| Bus Stop! On our way to the Weeping Rock. |
Our first real life vacation as a family!
It was wonderful and I can't wait to take another one!
Like they always say, it was too short!
We loaded up in the Tahoe and headed down to St. George to visit Zion National Park. It's funny that I have lived here my whole life and this was the first time I had ever been there! Talking more and more to people I realize there is A LOT I didn't know or haven't been to in Utah! Need to make that change one trip at a time!
Our trip consisted of staying in St. George with Gpa & Gma Schmalz. We wanted to go camping in the park, but as luck had it, they were all full!
We went and saw Eric's half sister, Melodie and her son Parker! We got to eat at a cute lil restaurant where Melodie works on the weekends, then went to see where they live. First time being at their house!

| Gma & Gpa winter home! |
Car Stop!
| On the road again! See our forced excitement? |
Hike to the Emerald Pool:
| See the water? It felt so good! |
| 2nd pool! |
| Eric and Chloe hiked up to the 3rd pool while the boys and I relaxed here! |
1st emerald pool.
Couldn't get in the water here, but the path misted you pretty good
from the water up above! |
| See! Wet path :) |
Our break in between hikes! We sat ourselves down up this huge tree that shaded us! It was nice to get off the bus and just sit down to enjoy our packed lunch and snacks!
Bus ride up the canyon! It was nice that the windows opened!
Waiting to get on the bus to ride up to the
Weeping Rock!
| Super simple and short path to the Weeping Rock |
| See the droplets? |
| THERE SHE IS! The Weeping Rock! |
This ledge grows tons of squishy moss because of all the water that falls on it!
Great view if you ask me! |
| Oh the sun! |
| Done with the bus! Now back to the car! |
| Don't mind my wind blown hair! |
| Stopped at the river before getting back in the car! |
| Cousin Parker and his territory! |
| Aunt Melodie! She is such a peach! |
This vacation was taken May 2016
